Iconic, ethereal, sculptural. Warren Platner designed his very decorative wire collection in the 1960s and it hasn’t lost an inch of its visual impact. Knoll International produced (and still does) the chairs by hand-welding hundreds of nickel-plated steel rods to round/circular frames, providing very comfortable seating for hours on end.

These chairs right here were bought in 2009. 
The dark-bronze, almost black wire frame creates a very nice contrast to the light-cream colored cushions.
