Egon Eiermann SE18 L Folding Chair

Regular price

This folding chair, model SE 18L, was designed in the 1950s by Egon Eiermann for Wilde & Spieth and is rightfully considered as one of the most comfortable folding chairs ever created.

The frame, seat and backrest are made from solid natural beech wood.

The “basic” version SE 18 is on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in their permanent modern art collection.

This SE 18L version is a rather rare luxury rendition with an elegantly curved backrest, the iconic black and natural wood color way and white nylon feet.

The chair is in nice vintage condition with some signs of use and a beautiful patina.
